B.J. Betts loved to tell stories as a young child. As time passed by she discovered a love of reading. Books were her constant companion all through school. Where some women adored shoes and perhaps jewelry, you could find BJ Betts in the book aisles.

She was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa and now lives in a small rural community nestled in a valley surrounded by the beautiful Loess Hills in Southwestern Iowa. Besides writing, she enjoys traveling, especially for researching a new story. Gardening is also one of her great loves, along with spending time with family and friends.
